Reverse job board
Glossary
On a traditional job board, employers post openings and candidates apply. A reverse job board flips that: candidates create a profile once, and employers or recruiters search and reach out directly, rather than candidates hunting and applying role by role.
This is distinct from paid reverse-recruiting services, where a candidate pays someone to search and apply on their behalf — a reverse job board is a self-serve platform, not a paid service acting for you. Traceroster's reverse job board works this way: candidates build one free, searchable candidate profile and stay discoverable, while recruiters search by fit instead of candidates submitting applications into a queue.
See talent pool for the pool recruiters search within.
