A match score reflects how closely a candidate's profile fits a specific search query, produced by comparing the meaning of the query against the meaning of the profile and then reranking the closest results for a more careful ordering.
The important design question for any platform is what can influence the order. Traceroster's current live search prioritizes matching relevance, and the current product does not offer sponsored profile slots. That describes the product as it works today rather than making an irreversible promise about future ranking policy.
